Hi,
I currently have a problem with my car, its a 2004 1.4 16V SRi.
When its cold on a morning its taking 10 or 15 times before it starts, once the car is running its fine and i dont have any problems getting it started for the rest of the day it just on a morning. I also noticed that it smells of petrol once i do get it started.
Sometimes it just will not fire and the EML light keeps flashing when it will not fire, other times it fires up and just cuts out straight away. Also this morning before i tryed to start it, the EML light started flashing.
I was informed it could be the Cooling Temp. Sensor as i have this replaced but still the problem has not gone away.
Any help will be most greatfull!
