my audio plugs were u plug aftermarket jobbie into have 3 plugs and dont fit my cd player which only has 2 plugs? my old mreg 1.2 ls had 2 plugs like normal though how do i get around this prob and wire up do i need audio plug adapters like fords do or what?

i think you can cut the third plug away or yes you can buy a converter well its more of an extension that a converter but still!

the 3rd plug is for the mfd. just separate it from the other blocks but dont chop the wires off it

ok cheers people i brought a cheap vauxhall cd player the other day sitting in boot of car atm went to plug it in but the third(biggest) plus has extra trimon it so wont fit into the 3rd plug in my car think it may have been out of an astra mk4 or something i was thinking maybe if i cut or file the trim bits away without touching the pins/terminals maybe it will fit and still work with the mfd what ya rekon??

I would certainly try it most stereo wiring is designed to be compatible
