With only a week left of 2007, I thought it would be nice to see what others think is worthy of the 2007 Best Game awards

This thread is for all platforms!

Xbox 360 - Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare - 10/10

It was released fairly late in the year and just after Halo 3.... but IMO COD4 took the spotlight away from Halo - mines gathering dust in the corner along with the once loved Gears of War.

Single player could have been longer but every level is immense and full of action! Multiplayer is awsome and I cant get enough of it.

Other games owned in 2007

Gear of War - 9/10 - excellent game and played it for months.
Forza 2 - 8/10 - not into racing games nowadays but this was fairly good. Loved the custom graphics!
GRAW 2 - 6/10 - started off well. Graphics were good but then became too tactical for my liking. Multiplayer was awful as the gameplay wasnt the same as single player.
Bioshock - 8/10 - nice to see a 'different' style of game out. Graphic are

but found myself rushing through just to complete it.
Halo 3 - 8/10 - my first Halo game. Single player ok. Multiplayer was fun when your not up against a halo-geek! and really enjoyed the custom maps
Assassins Creeds - 4/10 - wow, big dissappointment IMO. I think didnt enjoy it because it doesnt suit my type of gameplay. I prefer a shoot'em up over an adventure game.

not had COD4 yet!

Halo 3 was ok.
Assassins Creed was amazing!
Gears Of War was a nice challenge.
Forza got boring!

Guitar Hero is brilliant fun, which is kinda the point of games. Zelda on the Wii is really good, hard to put down, Resi Evil was also fun to play using the Wii controls

Call of Duty 4 is probably the best game of the year, but I don't keep going back to it like I do with Pro Evo, Skate & NHL

played COD4 last night and all i can say from the 20mins playing it its the best game this year!
