you can use normal paint but it cocks up really quick just get some high temp stuff

can you get high temp if diff colours? i want it in the same colour as the car and the oil cap in black

doubt you will get it same colour as car unless you mix some up. normal paint will blister and look nasty

Hammerite is fine on engine covers. I used to for years and it never blistered.

i've been to a paint place today and they said i can use normal paint and then use high temp larquer

normal paint should be fine. i painted my engine cover (not rocker cover) with it. Diddnt have any blisteing. The only thing i could maybe suggest is not to use any laquer

the ones i have done just on the plastic cover have been fine with halfords rattle tins
