i have put a set of 17s on my corsa b and the tyres rub. the tyres are 205/40/17 i have cut one rear arch and still rubs but cant see why as not much arch left. any ideas ????? cheers

dunno what wheels they are my mate had them on his corsa and they did not rub i then put them on my old corsa and did not rub but i have put them on my new corsa and they rub

it looks like it sez the offset on the actual wheel (stamped onto it, read the numbers on it)

There was a thread a while back about the rear beam not being central on some models/years.

Maybe thats the problem.

silly question but do u posibly have spacers on them which is pushing them further out and causing rubbin on the arch??

no spacers on i have now got it so it only rubs when have sum1 in the back as it was rubbing when there was just the driver. i will get sum1 to have a look at the rear beam . cheers for the help
