IIRC a cavalier GSi FWD has an F20 yes?
If so, and the car was a 1989/1990 spec GSi, would the box need to come off for to change the clutch?
Is so, then fair do's.
But if not, how is it done, and whats the 'tool' needed to move the shaft to release the clutch?
Any tips?
Cheers

wrong section but u can do it with the gearbox in situ.
clamp the clutch cover plate down, then remove the end casing and use a m7 bolt to pull the input shaft out and the clutch will drop out the bottom
