Any help is appreciated on these two:

1st off, my passenger window (Electric version) on my corsa b will go down about 3/4 of the way, and then slow right to a halt. The door card bulges out slightly and then if you hold the down button the window eventually reaches the bottom. Going up is nice and smooth and quick. I've had the door to pieces, greased and oiled everything I can get to. But still no joy. It worked fine for the first few weeks I had it, and then all of a sudden the problem came. Any ideas?

2nd-ley , The horn has stopped working, again all of a sudden. The fuse is fine, and the horn itself + wiring seem fine. Is there anything else that can be checked by myself before ripping out all the wiring to the buttons and replacing them? Any help appreciated. Cheers, Rob.

Well, as far as I can gather it's fine (Wires all attatched onto horn and not broken) Only place I havn't checked is the connections to the steering wheel. But surely its unlikely the two buttons would fail?

I sorted mine yesterday.

The vertical runners at the top of the windows, i put some spray grease inside them.

Then i took off the doorcard, peeled back the weathersheet and applied a generous amount of spray grease to the runner inside the door.

Left it for a couple of hours and the window now goes down a dream!

I think the problem was that the runners were dry and tight.

Have a go and see if this sorts your problem!!

Nice one for sorting it fella. Unfortunately I have already tried this Unless I need to use shit loads more. I havn't applied grease though, just alot of wd40! Did you do the vertical runners(either side of window) or the horizontal ones(Where the mechs move) Cheers, Rob.

WD40 wont really sort this.

Get down to your local motor factor and get some spray grease. Its cheap as chips too and can be very handy!

Spray grease gets a bit thicker as it dries a little so it needs to be left for a few hours. The longer the better really.

Just the vertical runners need doing mate.

If you do the horizontal ones it will leave a horrible mess everytime your window is used.
