tbh my KnN on my GSI was shockingly worse than the standard airbox. especially when the engine was hot, adn i was town driving.
i find the KnN panel filters better tbh.

but it is better in cold weather that using standard airbox ... or not much difference ? cheers anyways... my corsa is sluggish with standard airbox on when it gets warm its like towin a house but first thing in mornings its great
i havent really looked into the K&N panel filters becuase i thaught they would be restrictive like the standard panels..

a K&N would probably be better if the engine had been remapped to the spec of that filter.

sorry mart08uk, been drinking so you got my rag a bit
if you are doing a product design course, the main thing to mention is the fact that this particular company and product offer a 'million mile warranty'.
the filter never needs to be thrown away, as opposed to the original vauxhall standard paper counterpart.
environmental benefits, small scale maybe.
all of the filters are manufactured the same- regardless of car or make.
a oiled cotton gauze, foam or woven steel filter element offer a sustainable alternative subsitute to paper
