Has anybody got one of these fitted? Are they any good?
Ive got a 1.4 16v Corsa B, used to have a pipercross on my old car, liked the noise, so its between these two unless there are any other suggestions?
Any help greatly appreciated, as i am almost clueless. lol

lol, i didnt realise they were mega expensive.
ive just seen one in my local motor factors, should be able to get it a bit cheaper seen as my old man is manager. lol
Are they easy enough to fit? And bout how much are they?
Are they loud as well? cos on their web site it doesnt mention anything about an induction roar.

i have also been researching these products, max power says that the BMC is a good kit which claims to give you more HP. I am buying a K+N apollo which give me a good mix between power and noise. If you want noise get a filter with a metal filter, or foam like the pipercross the other materails are more designed for power. But if you want a decent kit get the BMC

ahh right, so pipercross, k and n, stuff like that are like a happy medium?
They provide more air in, with a bit of noise.
Where as the dynamic box lets it breath better, with a good cold air feed and heat shield, making it like a proper air intake system instead of just a filter.
There much difference in "projected" hp gains?
only real difference i noticed on my clio with a pipercross was slightly increased torque from standstill, it felt like that anyway, coulda just been the noise. lol
Cheers for the help guys

I'd reccommend them, had one on my 1.6 and my 2.0. much better than an open air cone etc.

Cool, cheers for all your help guys.
it is now fitted, but is dark, so no pics yet, the cold air feed was a bit awkward, and needed trimming by about an inch to get it to stop sticking out below the bumper too much, and i stabbed myself with a screwdriver fiddling with a jubilee clip, but apart from that, nice and easy to fit.
Was suprised that it made like no noise what so ever, but it looks cool and goes well, so im well chuffed.
So all in all, a BMC CDA is well recommended.
Cheers

55 quid? ur dad must have took a bit of a hit on that m8.
These sell to large companies (Halfords/motorworld etc) for about 90 quid each, and theres more than that worth of carbon fibre in em!!

Had one on my VTR couldnt reccomend it enough!
Mine sounded like an open cone, probably cause of the big scoop attatched to it

That looks like a nice set up fair play.
Will post picks as soon as i get my camera working tidy again.
but I have fitted it, and over the weekend went visiting family up in aberystwyth, so over the weekend drove it bout 300 miles, motorway, A and B roads, and it went without a glitch.
Motorway miles were smooth and quiet, off roundabouts and traffic lights, the torque is great and the noise is nice, not overly loud and in your face, but you can definately tell its not standard.
My corsa picks up speed smoothly and quickly with it on.
So, all in all, as well as looking absolutely brilliant, it performs well.
Highly Recommended.
Cheers for all your help guys
