Im looking at buying some de-locked door handles they come with the metal plate behind the plasic handles and screws how hard are they to fit? exerior by the way

5 minute job
window up, door card off, drop window runner, 2 bolts and unclip

is it or can it be hard dropping the window runner?

nope, once the window is up its just 2 bolts, when you take the door card off its easy to see,
