Hey!
Has anyone got any idea as to how difficult it is to mate the gear linkage on a c20ne onto a standard corsa b linkage. Am going to be putting one in mine shortly...and the only thing am concerned about is how i'm gonna make the linkage work.
Anyone have any ideas/experience.

would have thought as its a big block motor it would be the same as a red top. Gis 5 mins and I'll dig some pics out of how I done mine.

This is the bit on the end of the gear selector shaft under the car (std corsa 1.2)
Take it off, put it in a vice and hit with a hammer untill it looks like this
now it won't hit the steering rack.

I just removed all the linkage from my 1.2 box and put it onto my red top F20 box. This was the only bit of modding it needs. I've heard of other people saying you have to chop this bit and weld another, but I never needed to do any of this. Hope this helps.

You only have to bend this bit as the steering rack is in the way, if there was no steering rack you would be able to get all the gears without modification, don't know how you'd steer tho!
