iv converted my engine recently and my speedo has just stopped working my petrol and temp work .iv checked all the fuses which are ok

speedos driven differently? old may have been cable driven and new engines in mechanically driven???

1.2 8v to 1.4 8v mpi sri
but wen i put the gear box in wer the speedo usually screws on .this one had a push on connector on it

it'sbecause the old gearbox run off a cable and the new gearbox is electronic, you need to retro wire the new speedo in because you will not have the existing loom.

on the sri loom the connector has pushed in to the connector on the gearbox if u now wat i mean
