Still having a bit of a worry about this warm relay...
Put leccy windows in Kirstys 106 - wiring was all already there. But the relay (which is in the right place above the fuse box) keeps getting rather warm. Not burning, but warm enough. The connector block gets a bit warm as well. The wires going to and from don't get warm at all.
The relay is the right one, and have changed it over as well at pug just incase the old one was faulty.
Short or long run, it heats up to the same temp, hot enough to warm your hand up, but not hot enough to burn anything.
Just as a test, I put the heated screen on and the relay for that got a bit warm as well...
Is it normal, or should it be looked at?
Thanks chaps

relays should normally only generate heat when the coil is energised. is this getting hot even when you've not been using the windows?

I installed the window runners, so no problems there.
