Help please!!
Jusy got a new laptop with Vista Premium. Using AOL through router. all works well except that every time i open another window via a link in internet explorer and then close it down, it stops my internet explorer working and then restarts again. getting fed up of this, and wondering how i can stop this. it doesn't do it on any other pc i use, just the laptop. can i turn something off or do anything to stop it happening??

when i close a window down, say from when i opened a link, it pops up a small window saying your internet explorer has stopped working, and will restart. it only does this if you close a window down. you can have 50 windows open and it does not disconnect. does that make sense??

try reinstalling IE or running the repair tool

yeah id re-install or repair
sounds like ie is fecked and needs re-installed

yeah actuay the easiest thing to do would be what adam said and use firefox, i find iut alot better and i think alot of other people do aswell
