Hi
Can anyone help me with a few things
Ive got a 51plate 2.2 16v vectra sri im trying to put a c20xe in it ive seen it done on the 2.0 16v ECOTEC but not the 2.2.Dose anyone no if the subframes will take the xe or will it have to be changed for a normal 2.0 ECOTEC????
Also will my standed box mate up with the xe and what flywheel do i use?

trying to find a 22se engine is hard work and when you do its around £700 plus the idle control valve is gone .........

But it's a FAR better engine than a 20 year old 2 litre.
Not only that, by the time you've got the C20XE in adn working, you've spent more money than the Z22SE has cost you, and it'll leak all over your driveway and have the same power as the newer engine.

but better mpg   ..
but yeah would be better in the long run if you can persist and get hold of a 2.2

Plus the hassle of fly by wire throttle to cable. I wouldn't bother.
