at the moment we dont have the network at building two.
But building two will be have a backup DC but we want building two to have the same IP structure but use a differnt gateway of 10.52.0.5

Was going to suggest running a nice fibre line between the two managed switches but 2miles is too far!

Site to Site VPN is going to be pretty much your only option tbh

its a fixed line supplied by BT the MPLS route goes to finland and the 0.3 gateway goes straight to the internet cloud.

Do you utilise DHCP / Stitic IP addresses.
What is your network mask?
You do not have to use a VPN is this is either a P2P link, or an MPLS

we use DHCP, dont want to use a VPN its a p2p link. added you to msn too

hardware VPN between each router at each site.
Im trying this at the moment, but to enable one of the protcols used between the routers it disaalows me to VPN into the server :-s

NO idea why ANY one would want a VPN on a point ot point link, as it's totally private any how, and so would slow your network down if anything!
