well after my mum fecked her laptop windows had to be re-installed
anyone know of any free programs that will scan the laptop and check which drivers it needs

Check the laptop manufacturers website (usually under support or drivers etc), as most of them will host the drivers needed

go to device manager and see what have the yellow question marks they are the ones that need drivers
