Right I need the best ISP to go with that has minimal traffic shaping and filtering.

Currently on a 2mb line, happily have torrents running 24/7 comming down at 180-200kbs and uploading at 25-30kbs.

Want to get a up to 8mb package that will allow torrents to run 24/7.

Currently with bulldog, worth upgrading with them? Or are they a bad company now?

Is the Virgin Media service any good?

As long as the torrents are paused between 4-midnight then it dosn't seem to be a problem?

Virgin media adsl is not good, do not touch under any cirumstances.

Any entanet supplier is good, such as http://www.ukfsn.org or one richie posted recently.

Anybody who provides ADSL.

An entanet reseller, such as above.

Who's site seems to be down , thats luckily not a reflection on the service the provide.

You won't get anybody that doesn't throttle that will give you unlimited, unless you pay over 100 quid a month of course.

Every single one of the 'unlimited' ones will either throttle torrents or will have really small fair usage policys.

I have a list here for you. 1 moment.

Be Unlimited | £18 a month, 24mb, unlimited, 3 months contract. www.bethere.co.uk

BT option 3 | £18.99 a month, 8 mb, unlimited*, 18 month contract. www.bt.com

Demon | Home 8000 | £17.99 | 8mb, unlimited*, 12 contract. www.demon.net

Im with sky, dont have a problem with that in terms of cost and limit.

Sky | broadband max | £10 | 16mb, unlimited *, 12 month contract, www.sky.com/broadband

Remember you will only get the speed your line can get, if you go for an 8mb package but can only receive 3 or 4 mb at most, that is all you will get.

*Fair usage policy applies

Wrong again John

At home I have a totally unlimited connection at 8Meg, my line will only support 4.6 though.

The connection costs my employer £29.99 per month.

ISP is Kingston Communications

How do you like those apples?

I'll apologise and say i'm wrong if they have no fair usage policy and throttle no bandwith at all.

O2 currently have a totally unlimited policy but that won't be in place for long.

I pay 14£ a month for bethere and get 800kbps download rates for torrent file transfers.

I opted for the (upto) 8mb service rather than the (upto) 24mb as I'd only get about 8mbps rate maximum from my line.

800kbps is fine for me.
