My car is am 1.2 m reg 1994 i think. Have heard its on a block on the right hand side of the cylinders. but can't see it..... is this number useful for ordering parts and stuff??
any help would be great folks.

Yes, engine code is really helpful when ordering parts. Even though some parts managers think an XE is 8v

you prob have a 1.2 NZ tho theirs loads of other little buggers out their and if your rocker cover gaskets gone then your codes under 3mm of old oil

ah folks your bang on the nail there, c12nz. got some wd40 to it and a cloth and bob's your mothers brother it apeared like magic.
Thanks for you help.
Another question though now where would be the best part to replace the flexi hose that conects to the air boz as you can see its been damaged before and could do with replacing.

How would i be able to get me hands on one? was just that i got hold of an air filter and needs more length on the hose to fit in.
