I have a cable going from the office where the internet modem & router is, up the loft and back down into my bedroom. However this is only long enough to reach my PC tower which is sat on the floor.

I also use my laptop on my desk, but the cable isn't long enough. So, is there some kind of male to female or female to female type extension thing available, so I can get a smaller, say 1.5m cable to simply attach to my existing one?

Had a scout around on the internet but can't find anything - thought some of you network guys might know of something?!
