since friday my phone has stopped receiving txts, i have to go through all the menu's and select another network then go through it again to select vodafone.

vodafone say its been happening for months and they havnt managed to sort the problem out yet

If you read your contract, there will be T&C's about circumstances like this with service outage. I managed to get out of my TalkTalk contract half way through by referencing bits from the contract that they'd violated. Give it a try.

Is it the handset? My Girlfriends Samung U700 doesnt always receive texts. She takes her vodafone sim out and puts it in my SE k800i and gets all the texts through she hasnt received?! Any ideas (its a PAYG sim btw)
