hey peeps lowerd me car 40 mil on standard shocks and the wheels hav worn vry quickly on the inner edges any idea of how to prevent this cheers

Get wheels with an offest of et49 or tap the arches out a bit.

if ur wheels are the wrong offset the tyres will rub

my tyres aint rubbin they r wearing on the inner edge,when i look at me car frm the front it sits like this / \

maybe you trackings out? take it to a tyre fitter they will be able to sort this for you

after lowering corsas at the front, you get negative camber, you can sort this out by getting eccentric topmounts, or camber adjustment bolts

But generally with only lowering 40mm it shouldnt knock the camber out that much that tyre wear is visible.

My mate lowered his 6n2 polo 100mm and you could see the wear after 2 weeks.

but i hav only lowerd it wiv springs and not the shocks so still got the standard shocks on will tht make it do it

defo get your tracking done first of all as charlton said, check track rod ends for play, bushes etc. with lowering there will be camber,so some inside wear is bound to occur

Camber! Get some aftermarket shocks if that does nt work then some sort of camber kit
