hi all, my car idles roughly/misfires like it is running on 3 cylinders when it is first started, then the engine managment light sometimes comes on, there is also quite alot of white smoke coming ot of the exhaust and it is using alot of water, i think its the head gasket but was just wondering what your oppinions are? cheers

aye i think so, its gettin really hot when driving then cools down again

Yeah, sounds like it. Your water will be going into the oil. They'll be trying to mix and you'll get this yellow stuff in your engine, not good.
Try and get it fixed ASAP. you can still drive it, but limit it to short jurneys, ie, picking up the bits you need to fix it, then driving it to the garage.
