Recently fitted one of the inlet manifolds for sale on here (replica) and the cars going well, theres a definite improvement.
The thing is when i put the foot down and hit the redline and beyond it turns the EML on. Was just wondering would there be any connection and have others experienced the same?
Although I fear that you will all just tell me to get a diagnostics check

You need to redline it as it pushes the power right up trhe rev range.
Yes, something to do with the EGR valve IIRC, mine used to do it, you'll have to live with it.

you have to read the code to tell you whats wrong mate, your just guessing otherwise. Fitting a different inlet shouldnt give you any problems with EGR fault codes

Yes it should because you have to blank the EGR feed off.

Blocking the EGR off doesnt stop the piston moving in it and doesnt give a fault code, Ran mine for 2 years without a single EGR valve code being thrown up

Yeah blocked it off where the throttle used to be, where the exhaust gas went into the inlet

Still, the code needs to be read IMO because its not really forced to be the EGR valve, yes ts possible but its not really any more than a guess
