I realise this sounds like a dumb question but there is some logic to it.
My Corsa is a 1993 GSi so it should have the C16XE engine in it with the plastic inlet.
I now the engine was changed under warranty at vauxhall at 20k miles but I dont know the date but it still has the plastic inlet on it and no egr valve either.
I now have to buy some sensors for the car but would firstly like to know for definate what engine I have.
Is there somewhere on the engine that will tell me what it is?
Many thanks
Stuart

It will be stamped into the block near to the dipstick, but if it still has the plastic inlet and no EGR, its a C16XE.
