I was wondering, for the same reason as we cut out the inner door metal on the fronts, is it safe to do the same on the rear? Or will it weaken the car?
I have carbon door cards you see and found the rear ones would sit much better if the metal was cut out,....

that is structural yes, so don't cut it.

Would this not weaken the wings mate, can't see it holding up as well in a crash if it were to be impacted there.
