Any one got any tips, they will of course be getting sand blasted (at a later date) yadaa yadda but i want to go over them because theyre fooking rusty. ive got a project pack of sandpaper and was just going to work through the grits unless anyones got any fab ideas

wire wheel brush on a drill will speed up the process, then can rub down with sandpaper

will it not scratch the actual metal or will it just pull the paint off

If you are sand blasting them you don't need to sand them down

im a perfectionist, and the wheels are farking rusty, i obv know that they will be sandblasted but at the end of the day if you want a job done proper do it yourself

Mine were rusty and i painted them with black hammerite and now they look new ish

how did you take the old paint off with sand paper or a wire brush?
