 how is the imobiliser activated and de-activated on '95 16v sri? also these cars run a deadlock system on the doors, right? so how does remote central locking affect that? surely if i delocked the car using vectra handles this would render the deadlock system useless?

There is a chip inside the key that turns the imobliser on and off so u dont have to do anything. That dead locks are only activiated by turning the key in the lock, I dont think there are any alarms out there that can activte both the dead locks and c/locking

When I fitted Vectra handles I took my deadlocks off. taking off the locking barrel rendered them useless.

just remove your door pins, it has the same effect as dead locks.

im just gonna fit the vectra handles and have done with it 
is it just my engine or are all corsa engines "ticky" NOT knocking just ticking when the car is turning over?
also i hear my petrol swirling round the tank when its half full, i imagine this is normal and nothing to worry about but i just though id check.
