After a while screen goes dark after no activity, but when you click a button it resets update. How do you stop that?!!!

There's not a new update as far as I know. He' probably only just bought the game or something.

Havn't played for a month.
I was getting at the screen goes in to standby mode during downloanding and pressing a button then restarts the download.
I did it eventually but this seems to happen with most.
