Im trying to find the easiest way/cost effective to heat water in my small little home project.
I have a small pump which is called to run for 1 minute of the day 3 times a day.
this is done by an electronic time clock.
The pump pumps from a small reservoir. Id like to heat this water somehow first to 'hot' not boiling.
Does anyone have any sensibile suggestions? Its too far to plumb into the mains and I dont want to manually pour boiling water into the res.

just need to heat some water before its used.
I think i may have found a simple solution:
Here.I could leave this submerged in the reservoir all the time. Its not going to consume much electricity.

Like that one, most will go to a max of 36c, that high enough?

thanks for your input cosmo.
If i went for something like this 400w (Seems to be the highest watt i can find). would it matter if an inch or 2 stuck out the top in free air? its not likely to burn up or anything.

Some have to be fully under the water, others can have some of it out, so really depends on the mdoel you go for and its specs.

get an immersion heater for a towel rail or hot water tank and wire it to a 230v plug. just put a timer on the plug for however long is needed to reach the required temp.
