hi has anyone done this exam? just wondering how you go about it, done some test papers online and got up to 93% which im happy with! wanna start with this then move on to N+ probably
whats the real exam like?

What do you mean by "has it helped you"?
In terms of employment, my answer is no. I got my role having a degree.
Has it helped with my job, yes. Learned a fair bit by reading the Microsoft books.
The company i work for are Microsoft Partners, hence us techies are send out to pass the exams.

A+ isn't a microsoft exam though.
It's more hardware based also.
It may help getting a job but i'm still of the opinion it's a bit of a diddy exam.

i already have my networking job, but its learning whilst im doing it kinda thing. just want things to boost up my CV for future, A+ & N+ has been recommended as an introduction by my company...

IMO good to have at the start of your career.
I did the A+ (two exams, 1 hardware, 1 O/S) and my Network + when I got my first IT job.
Company paid but it was about £100 each I think, not difficult really but when I did mine there was quite a bit of pretty irrelevent stuff you need to learn
