What do you mean by "has it helped you"?

In terms of employment, my answer is no. I got my role having a degree.

Has it helped with my job, yes. Learned a fair bit by reading the Microsoft books.

The company i work for are Microsoft Partners, hence us techies are send out to pass the exams.

A+ isn't a microsoft exam though.

It's more hardware based also.

It may help getting a job but i'm still of the opinion it's a bit of a diddy exam.

IMO good to have at the start of your career.

I did the A+ (two exams, 1 hardware, 1 O/S) and my Network + when I got my first IT job.

Company paid but it was about £100 each I think, not difficult really but when I did mine there was quite a bit of pretty irrelevent stuff you need to learn
