Is there a gasket with this and does this usually go? Or is it common in x14xe's for the waterpump to go ? any help please, its either a waterpump or new engine lolz

Theres an O-ring behind the water pump but if the pump has started leaking then you will have to buy a new pump, theyre not expensive but change it before all the bolts get corroded by the water and it overheats when it runs dry.
I know someone who left it leaking and the water pump bearings gave way causing the timing belt to come off hence destroying the engine

thanks mate, just found out waterpump from my place is 22 quid! so gonna get that done asap!
