I've yet to find anything better with a better warranty though Aaron, when I do i'll happily change my opinion.
They changed a wine damaged screen and keyboard for me under warranty last week
If you managed to get anything out of acer support I bet theres no chance they would.

I've got 3 in my house and bought a few for other people, not many problems and any I do have are quickly resolved.
Somebody I've got one of the dells for bought a compaq against my advice, who got the compaq when it broke, who spent days chasing down the support, for them to take it away for a week and send it back without changing the faulty drive
Anybody I know with a sony says it's rubbish, that acer is being given away free with a phone contract
I also know the dell warranty system inside out so that helps but even from a dell insider I still think they are currently the best value.
Edit to say I only paid for one of they 3 , and that was originally cheap off ebay.
If you have a look on ebay there's a factory outlet that sells ones people have ordered then don't want, come with original warranty etc at a reduced price.
