look on the battery as it should have a hydrometer reading on it, if its green then batterys all good, if in the red then battery if f***ed lol

try charging the battery up first for a couple of hours then see if it helps??

Um scrappy is best bet. If not just get quotes from garages. Oh and its possible you have a dodgey battery. but if its worked for a month then might be alternator, why did you get a new battery?

Scrappy is the best if you can find a clean car with the engine intact and has had the bonnet down so water hasnt fucked the alternator

What do you mean by nothing on the dash working?

Does it sound 'flat' when you start it?

Do you only need to rev it once for everything to work?

And what do you mean when you say 'the battery lights?'

This doesn't sound like a fecked alternator, nothing at all would work if it was gone. If the battery was flat it wouldn't be able to be started.

People should ask more questions before suggesting things to buy/get fitted tbh.

It could be a problem with the alternator or battery, but it doesn't sound so straightforward from the description of the problem.
