my twist had got a 1.2 8v dizzy engine but i want to keep it a 8v so what egine would be a straight swap as i thought 1.4 or 1.6? what you surrgest and red top is nnot going in i want a 8v

What about the 2.0 8v then? With a few mods, you might be able to get close to 150bhp.

no you need a coversion kit etc
just swap for a 1.6 8v!!!

1.6 nova gte engine. got one in mine i love it cant argue for 100 quid either. only need to change fuel pump to make it run. wiring take 5 mins.
