My cousin has just bought a iPod and wants some music on it asap and I wondered could if I just plug his iPod into my Laptop would it just up date it with my Library? I really dont fancy putting my library at risk so any help would be much appreciated

It can only have the contents of one library, so I didn't think it could be connected to any more than one computer.
If I connect it to my laptop, it tries to synchronise with the music that I have on that iTunes, thus deleting everything else.

Dan you can stop that by manualy managing music & not syncing just dragging and dropping.
Mines linked to 3 pcs all have diff libraries
