if i rev my car the revs seem to take a long time to drop. is this normal or could it be something wrong as my mates one doesnt do it.

idle controll valve?? maybe needing cleaned

i didnt know you could just clean them i thought you had to just replace them. ill have a go anyways, thanks for the help.
