Hi there.
I recently bought a powerflow straight-through system for my 1.2 8v. The guy i got it off said it was custom made and fitted to his old 1.2 8v, so it should fit fine. Everything seemed to fit togethor like a doddle (except getting the cat and center pipe apart as it had rusted). Sounds brilliant, nice and loud, gives nice popping sounds, lovely jubbly.
However, the backbox is knocking against my suspension and i dont know what to do about it does anybody have any thoughts? i was gunna try sliding the center pipe out a little bit from the cat pipe, dunno if anyone knows a better idea, or any reasons why that is an aweful idea.
Cheers.
Rich.

No, it's not lowered at all.
It's definantly hitting the suspension, it's resting on it when im not moving.
I did take some pictures, but i cant find my camera lead, so cant put them on atm.
Cheers.

Unclamp it where the backbox joins the mid, twist the back box so its not touching, then tighten it up.

twist it as in pull it apart from the center pipe? or pivot it around? - im not sure i can pivot it any more, as it is currently resting on my bumper. I need to cut out a semi circle in my bumper, but im not sure how to do it as it seems to be bodywork behind it.
