I will be mounting my plasma on the wall soon, the cables i will need are:
HDMI - Playstation
Scart - Surround Sound/digi
and a power cable
I would love to get rid of the need for a scart but its for a 'special digi box'
Can you put only one HDMI up the wall and suse a splitter between the digi and the ps3??

Coax cable for freeview?
You can use just the one HDMI but the switches arnt cheap, best off using 2 HDMIs mate
Have you got an AV amp or surround sound? If so it could be worth taking the audio out from the TV into the amp to get sound from the freeview through your speakers

What about S-Video, Component and composite? I know composite isnt good quality but it seomtimes comes in handy for connecting things like a wii, phone via av cable etc.
