im not sure what it is, is the the timing belt kit?
but been told thats why im getting a rattling sound coming from the side of my engine (pulley side)
its a 1.0 12v
anyone help me out please

It doesn't have a belt, its a chain mate. It becomes slack and rattles about.

oh ryt, ive had a look and i can only see a belt, and no chain in site
how much aprox would it cost to change?

chain is hidden behind cover's, much like a cam belt is, on car's that use belts..
the belt you see if the altenator belt

Yeah the belt you are seeing is the belt that drives the alternator, water pump etc.
The chain itself is behind a casing. Price depends where you go and how they change it.

Depends, you can just replace the chain. Or replace the chain, tensioners, etc. Obviously one is the cheaper fix, speak to Warren G off here, he has done a couple for people off here.
