my 1.0 12v has started to sound a little rough, not when im driving it, just when its idleing..
ticking and sounds abit noisy..
is this a common thing with the 1.0 12v's? didnt do it when ive got it and ive serviced it etc...
can anyone help me out a little please..
its only done 57k aswell..

it will be the timing chain tensioner,
its a hydraulic unit and gets a little bit weak, hence the rattling on idle etc.
andrew page sell a full dayco kit for £58+vat but it cums with gm parts inside

Mines is extremely loud and it shakes the door when its open and idleing

when i first start it it goes up to about 1.2k for about 5 seconds and then down to 0.9/1k but it just ticks...
