I had this size number plate on my old GSI. Believe it was 3/4 size but does anyone know what size they are in inches?

Around 52cm long by 11cm high.

u wont get sold plates lyk that nemare they illegal. have to be correct size and writing style! and motorbike style plates are only allowed on imported jap cars... i think..

Ways around these things.

And you're wrong about the bike plate thing. Mate's got one on the front of a mk3 astra GSi and he's not the kind to break the law.

well he prob bought it b4 the 1st o november the law has changed m8, please tell him!!!

well for a number plate these days ppl cant make them without a proof o identity, car registration document and done thru the internet now.. they wont sell u them coz its an excuse sum1s prob tried already at halfords or sumit sayin its for their bedroom wall i recon they winna sell them incase they get in2shit wae the law.. same wit customization.. the bit at the bottom ust say where u bought em! sorry for bein the bastard tellin yi this

we are not aloud to sell square number plates or any abnormal size plates at out work acording to the dvla! number plates have to be the same size and leters have to be equal size and spacing, also has to have the bsa stamping and place of production im sure, has been the same for the past 3 years ive worked there,
i fink hes right only import cars are aloud square front plates

u can get anything over the internet or your local market.

the way around the law is calling them 'show plates'

Providing they have no marks and postcode's on the bottom of the plates then they are fine as it's illegal to sell plates like that. i have a motorbike sized rear plate on mine and never get hassle.

its worth a 30 quid fine for having incorectly sized number plates!
i have had a warning for my front plate!
