does anyone no whats different between a c16xe ecu and a c16xel ecu because iv just put a c16xe engine in but the ecu for the new engine is a different size. will using the xel ecu effect the running of my car??

its the 1 with the funny inlet on it, really slow.

ye, i dont think alot were made but its standard in a gsi but the ecu is different size from the gsi with the plastic inlet

c16xe and x16xe in the corsa gsi
c16xel out of an astra?

c16xel ecu wont run a c16xe

Never heard of the C16XEL either but the basic engines will be the same, you would need the loom and sensors to match the ECU you are using, only other difference is the exhaust cam which is smaller in the XEL

iv seen it in corsas before they did put it in some corsas

c16xel isnt standard in a corsa
