Almost always too much moisture in the room - common this time of year, too cold outside to open windows while the shower is going etc.

I leave my extractor fan running 24/7 and it doesnt appear to have gotten too bad atm

I have little patches on the external wall...

I believe wiping the wall with a thin layer of washing up liquid stops it

excess moisture as danny said, we have an extractor that comes on with the bathroom light and stays running for 10 mins when the light is turned off

I have an extractor fan that switches off after an hour and half. Does the job.

I leave my extractor fan 24/7 - is this bad

I only do it because if I turn it off the wind blows right into the house and it gets proper cold....
