Does anyone know where I can get my windows tinted? I want a good job of it aswell, I tried it my self with the tinting film from halfords but it kept bubbling. I live just out side of Sheffield and any sheff tinting firms would be great.

Theres a place called Tint R in Nottingham mate think they charge about 150 all in. Not used them but from ive heard they do a top notch job

Whats the current law about tints? Ive been told the front windows cannot be tinted too much, neither can the back? Anyone know anytihng else about this.

i thought the back one could be 100% but the back sides had to let 70% in and the front doors and wind-screen couldnt be done

Front windows can't be tinted at all, I think.

front sides cant be tinted anymore but loads of people have them done......car would look daft with just back three.
Tint R have been recommended by a load of people and are supposed to be a real quality job.
Email them and ask for a quote tintr@btopenworld.com
They quoted me £150 for the five windows on my Corsa C doing, which is a good price.

You can tint rears as much as u like but its illegal to tint front.
Had mine done at spire tinting(part of national windscreens) in chesterfield, top quality job £150 Sorted!!

back 3 can be tinted to whatever i think, but the 2 side door windows have to let 70% light through and they can check it. If it is film you might be lucky enough not to get dun if your nice, they may just ask you to rip a big enough part off, enough to mean it looks stupid and so they no you will take it all off. saw it on TV last night
