Windows 7 public beta available here tomorrow.
I was just about to install the latest leaked one on the laptop last night, i'll wait for the official now I think.

Device management looks quite cool.
I installed Longhorn a few years back and it was too buggy, assuming Windows 7 is like that, it's probably worth waiting for official release tbh.

You expect a beta to be buggy though.
I've read a lot of people using it as their main OS and they're very happy with it.

my boss has been using it since the start of december (partner release) everything works fine, much better than the vista/longhorn beta's were. general release in april FFS, they must be pretty confident that it works
