engine is in but as i have been told there is somewhere you have to cut the steering rack. is this true and where do i cut it?

yes mate cut the steering rack that will get it sorted

well i dont know thats why im asking. thats what i was told but thought i would find out from people who have done them.

how would you reccomend doing it then?

you need to extend the gear linkage. easiest way is you can buy them already pre fabricated from lmf

what and that is it? i have a short shifter on my sri can i use that or are you talking about and bit?
