This is the second time this has happened now. It fired up but the engine spluttered and died then it just turns over but not firing up.
first time I just left it as I had to wait for the AA, typically it fired up when the AA got there. This was about a month ago it happened and now again?
Any ideas?
'97 5door 1.4 8v.

mine did that and couldnt start it for a month. then all of a sudden it just started. aint got a clue why it was playing up. but been told it might be the immobiliser. might be the same with yours

the coils seem to brake on them well if thats what ya call it the black bit the spark plugs leeds go to and not the engine or spark plus them self the black box my 1.2 did it

Could be lots of things , intermittant problems are the worse to find and fix I prefer it when something just does not work , call the AA thats why you pay them post what they say/find.
