cos it sync's with you're iTunes

so if you had no songs on iTunes, you have no songs on iPod

You need to copy all her songs onto your computer and re sync

Yeah, because your library on the new comp was empty so it synced to the new library. I think you can download a program to go from iPod to computer, or easy just copy the songs from your sis.

Alternative (too late now) is to set manual rather than letting it sync

Get rid of iTunes, use Winamp, jobs done! Transcodes (converts formats) on the fly and you can copy tracks off (in apples MPA/MP4 format)

iTunes is awful. In the end it made me sell both my iPod Touch and my iPhone -- I just can't stand it.

It's simple, yeah, but it's a rubbish program. There are so many things bad about it that makes WMP the player of choice imo. Too bad you can't sync iPods from it.

I have a 3G iPod but barely use it any more so therefore barely use iTunes but it's still annoying

It's totally retarded how iTunes does that, even more so it does it without warning.

Another example of a sub-standard Apple product.

I used Xilsoft iPod Rip and ripped all the girlfriends tunes from the ipod onto the new pc then let it re-sync.

Sorted.
