You can't use an injection pump with carbs without a regulator. Best bet is to buy a low pressure pump, an interupter pump is best and fit a low pressure regulator to keep a nice 3psi.

Just power through a relay and have the earth of the relay on one of your switched outputs from the megajolt. set it to go to ground when engine rpm is above 400 and that way it only pumps when the engine is running so if you crash and your engine stops, the pump stops too.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

also, the fuel in the float chambers will be enough to start the engine as the pump won't start up untill the engine is running.

If you fit a push switch taking ground to the relay aswell the if the car has been stood for ages and needs a bit more fuel, you can do it by pressing the switch in for a few seconds to prime it up.

edit for spelling!
